Welcome to Tactical Adventurer. This is my personal website, built and edited entirely by me. This is my way of staying connected both to those whom I know and with those I have not yet met who may share similar interests. In my professional life, I am concerned mostly with quality, design, marketing and branding, not to forget effective communications of all kinds. I share here on this site - my experiences related to the areas of travel and adventure. My hope is that this website will be both useful and serve as a resource for anything related to travel and adventure.

Why Tactical Adventurer?
I began traveling right from the time I can remember in the '90s. My father is a banker. In India, bankers get a benefit - LTC Tours (Leave Travel Concession) once every year. He is a very adventurous man, never afraid of any situation and always ready to take the plunge. Well the credit goes to the environment he was brought up in, he grew up in a typical Indian village where a person is trained to be self dependent and is taught not to be afraid of anything. You guessed it right I have it in my genes.

So as a child I always wanted to document my experiences of travel and adventure. However I was never able to find a way to document anything as I felt that maintaining a Travelogue in a diary was a tedious job. As a result of this I do not have any mainstream documentation on the experiences in the first quarter of my life (First Quarter as per me is 25 years, this is because I believe that a person should live for more than 100 years because there is so much to see and do in the world that I feel that one lifetime is just not enough.)

I felt Tactical Adventurer was necessary, as I always wanted to document and share my experiences. It is not meant to be fancy website; it has been built to help any individual in seeking information on different places worth traveling. It does tell lots of unique stories. Everyone is special. Everyone is different. The key — perhaps the main key — is finding what is different about yourself and letting the world know about your difference and what you can contribute. So here, I have put together pictures, maps, basic information, etc.

Have fun and enjoy life, its beautiful.

What is survival skills?

Survival is the art of staying alive. Mental attitude is as important as physical endurance and knowledge. You must know how to take everything possible from nature and use it to the full, how to attract attention to yourself so that the rescuers may find you, how to make your way across unknown territory back to civilization if there is no hope for rescue, navigating without map or compass. You must know how to maintain a healthy physical condition, or if sick or wounded heal yourself and others. You must be able to maintain your morale and that of others who share your situation. Any equipment you have must be considered a bonus. Lack of equipment should not mean that you are unequipped, for you will carry skills and experience with you, but those skills and experience must not be allowed to get rusty and you must extend your knowledge all the time.
